About the David Project

In 2006, Greg founded The David Project, named after one of the greatest worshipers and leaders in history, David-Psalmist and King. The David Project is a program designed to train and develop emerging worship leaders through spiritual and practical skill training. Through this program, participants have the opportunity to understand the spiritual calling of a worship leader, learn the practical skills necessary to lead effectively, lead worship in a “lab” setting as well as a worship service, and receive feedback and evaluation. Although this has traditionally been a nine month( one meeting per month) program, we have recently developed a four day model in which a participant can go through all the curriculum, lab and evaluation process in a compressed, intensive time frame. Our new model has opportunities for people of all ages. Our student camps are designed to accommodate students ages 16-22, while our conference intensives are geared toward adults. Our overall goal is to give people transferrable skills that apply to worship leadership in any environment- large or small, traditional or non-traditional.
