Summer Camps

Our summer camps are a great venue for young, emerging worship leaders, ages 16-22, to be in a week-long environment where they are immersed in “all things worship.” Each day will consist of a combination of general large group sessions, as well as small group break outs in order to cover a lot of ground in a short period of time. Topics on the spiritual dynamics of worship leading will be taught during general sessions, while skill training will be done in a small group environment, so that our instructors can tailor instruction to each student. In our break outs, each participant will have the opportunity to learn about and develop their skills in a variety of areas that include:

• Running An Effective Rehearsal
• The Art of Transitions
• Communication 101- You Are The Message
• Worship Leader and Their God - Devotional Life
• Music Theory - The Science of Art
• Stage Presence
• Songwriting
• Vocal Training

In addition, he/she will have the chance to perform with The David Project Band, be videoed, and receive a copy of the DVD with written feedback and evaluation from our team. All in all, participants will leave the camp better prepared to live out their calling as worship leaders.
